Introducing Export Ultra Low Carb Lager
The iconic Kiwi beer brand, Export, is launching something pretty special, Export Ultra Low Carb Lager. The new brew is a crisp and refreshing lager that is 99% carb-free, 99% sugar free and contains only 26 calories per 100 ml. Made for Kiwi beer drinkers who appreciate easy-drinking, low bitterness lagers, Export Ultra Low Carb Lager is perfectly balanced with an exceptionally crisp and refreshing finish.
Sam Forrest, Senior Marketing Manager Domestic Brands, DB Breweries, says the delicious new drop has been designed to meet surging consumer demand: “The popularity of low-carb beer has grown 38 percent over the past year and accounts for 13 percent of overall supermarket and off-licence sales1,” said Forrest.
“Export is one of NZ’s leading lager producers. From the award-winning Export Gold, through to one of the first Kiwi low carb beers, Export 33, and now innovating with Export Ultra Low Carb which is low in bitterness in line with consumer preferences today. Our easy drinking lager portfolio has something for everyone and is perfect for enjoying on a hot day, which is what Export is all about.
The brand has simultaneously revealed a refreshed look for the entire Export range, with new easy-to-understand colour cues on bottles and cartons that will help Kiwis easily spot the brew they are after on the shelf. The change also sees the removal of the neck label on the bottles, which reduces the amount of paper used in packaging.
Export Ultra Low Carb Lager is available in store from April, and consumers can expect to start seeing the newly packaged Export bottles and packs on shelves over the coming months.
